The team of 195 Piccadilly, headquarters of The British Academy of Film and Television Arts, would like to thank you for all the trust and support you have shown us during the last year, making it a fantastic one to look back at.
We are planning to make 2008 even more exciting, offering a lot of innovative activities and ideas. We recently re-launched our website (www.bafta.org), showing that we are moving forward and maintaining our exclusivity.
Further enhancements include a new Barco projector and an advanced lighting system in our Princess Anne theatre and around the building.
All our state-of-the art technology, decoration and designs, together with the culinary delights of our head chef Anton Manganaro will give your events the standard and glamour they deserve and make them even more memorable.

EXCITING NEWS:
MORE CINEMA at BAFTA |
We are proud to announce the arrival of the Barco DP 1500, the latest model in digital cinema projection. The Barco projector is designed for conference rooms, specialised cinema suites and screening rooms. The DP-1500 offers the latest technology of projection, making 195 one of London’s best equipped screening venues.
Key benefits of our facilities are:
- True HD digital projection.
- 35/70 mm film projection.
- Digital film projection from Dolby and Kodak servers.
- Post production screening facilities on request if needed.
- Dolby Digital 'SURROUND EX' and DTS- 'ES' sound systems
- New lighting system including four moving head spots which are DMX controlled. This allows for the use of company gobos multi function LED lighting also DMX controlled.

With Britain’s most prestigious awards ceremony taking place on Sunday 10th February, you will have the opportunity to see this exciting event within the unique settings of 195 Piccadilly, headquarters of BAFTA.
This black tie evening will begin with a glamorous red carpet arrival, followed by Taittinger Champagne and canapés in the Private Members Bar. Guests will then enjoy the award ceremony via live link in our Princess Anne Theatre. With drinks and popcorn being served throughout the awards, what better way could there be to watch this fascinating event?!
After the ceremony we will continue to celebrate just like the stars. A stunning cinema setting will be laid down in our David Lean Room. Guests can choose their own table theme, starting from crime to romantic comedy, drama and musical. Our Head Chef Anton Manganaro will create a special 3 course menu followed by a cheese platter, coffee and petit fours. Accompanying wine will be served throughout the evening. Pure indulgence!
